Review

"The Regrets of Man," the third book in The Peter Smith Chronicles, takes you on a powerful journey through post-war America.

Peter Smith, fresh from the battlefields, now faces the tough task of uniting a divided country and tackling deep-rooted racism. After losing his parents, Peter is caught between staying with his family in Boston or taking on a new mission in South Carolina. With his wife Anne by his side, he decides to fight slavery using his newfound political influence.

The story vividly shows the challenges Peter faces, especially when his family is brutally attacked. He has to make tough choices between seeking justice and sticking to his mission.

This book is an emotional and gripping tale of one man's fight for a better future. It's a must-read for anyone who loves historical fiction.
