Take a starlet on the run from a crazy ex and the world and add in a

Grace Aundine, a
beautiful socialite and member of one of the most notable families on
the east coast, hasn't known real love since the death of her parents.
After an impromptu trip with her boyfriend, she soon discovers what lies
beneath the surface. Controlled by her grandmother, betrayed by her
so-called boyfriend, and abandoned by her sister, Grace is on the run
and hiding from the world.
Nathan Burkette just wants to escape.
He knows all too well about being hurt by the ones you love. After
leaving the military - Burke chooses a solitary life on Oahu, where, he
thought, no one would bother him. That is until Grace shows up on his
beach ... alone, battered, and looking like she could jump out of her
skin. He tries to leave her to her own devices as she sat on the sandy
shores behind his home, but fate intervenes.

it - they are falling in love and onto a dangerous path, leading

About Kimberly McKay
Kimberly McKay has a well-rounded
career as romantic suspense and paranormal author, screenwriter,
podcaster, editor, a writing instructor at OU, and director. She is
writing and directing her first documentary called BRAT AMBITION, which
should come out in 2021-22, depending on how the pandemic affects the
film industry. But through it all, she's a storyteller at heart.
Kimberly
has traveled worldwide due to her father's military career, giving her
plenty of character content to pull from. She started her writing career
at the state paper in Oklahoma before she got traditionally published
and eventually became an Indie Author.
Kimberly
recently signed a contract for four of her scripts that are being
shopped throughout the film community. Kimberly hosts 'A Novel Thought'

She
and her husband, married for over 21 years, love to travel and reside
in Oklahoma City with their son and rescue dog. Reading, photography,
