Victoria Roberts Siczak
was born in upstate New York and lived on the shore of the Oneida River during her childhood. She attended Oswego State and Syracuse University and published many short stories and poems. Victoria moved with her family to Tennessee in 1994. She is a wife, a mother and grandmother and momma to one spoiled beagle/terrier. Victoria is a storyteller with the unique ability to blend science-fiction, fantasy and mystique, with realism, spiritualism, and historical actualizations. Her own intrinsic character portrays a distinctive mystique in her writing and her life. Victoria lives in the southeast and enjoys reading and writing almost as much as she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Her favorite quote is from Actress and Civil Rights Activist Josephine Baker: “The day will come when color means nothing more than the skin tone, when religion is seen uniquely as a way to speak one's soul, and all men are born free. Only understanding this, will enable us to breed love and brotherhood.” “This,” she hopes, “Will one day come to be!”

Murder On Military Road

There's a double murder on Military Road. The bodies of Colonel Matthew Hanson and his wife Susan are discovered with a single shot to the head. Detective Faye-Lynn Johnson is assigned the case, but even with her extraordinary powers of observation and deduction, the killings are baffling. Faye-Lynn and her partner can find no possible motive for the horrible murders. Enter General John Brittan, Commander of a Top-Secret Strategic Defense Program, he orders the detectives to back off the case. The murders are part of an intense inquiry by the Criminal Investigation Command (CID); one so highly classified that Faye-Lynn and her partner are not allowed to see the evidence. Faye-Lynn never has been on to follow the rules, expecially with the stakes so high. She unravels critical information regarding a possible international murder conspiracy. Forced into an uneasy alliance, Faye-Lynn must remain laser focused on her one and only goal: solving the case before it's too late.
